Level 3 Construction effectively finished the 226 guestroom renovation of the Embassy Suites Brea- North Orange County. This project served as one of the first of three concurrent Embassy Suites projects managed by Windsor Capital Group. In less than five months’ time, the seven-story hotel received new furnishings, carpet, tile, light fixtures and a fresh coat of paint in all suites and corridors. Improvements to the guest bathrooms comprised of custom millwork at vanity and backlit mirrors that paired with the living space’s modern look and feel. The finished product resulted in a fresh, new design with a focus on local artisans and décor for the guests to enjoy.
Level 3 Construction’s project manager, Jason Kenney, executed the tactic to renovate 40-suites at a rate of every three weeks. The work began on the seventh floor and proceeded with momentum from floor to floor with only a couple of days of overlap in between each phase. Level 3 Construction’s crews would simultaneously complete the finishing touches of 20 guestrooms and strip down and prep 20 additional guestrooms for the finishes. Close collaboration with WCG Project Manager, Terri Sherry, and hotel management and staff was required in order to achieve the aggressive construction schedule and FF&E installation.
