Level 3 Construction’s extensive experience in hospitality allowed for DKN hotels to award the renovation of their hotel to Level 3 Construction in order to produce a successful transformation. Level 3 Construction was able to enclose the existing courtyard of the Holiday Inn Santa Monica hotel to create an original 2-story conditioned space for a new 1,200SF breakfast buffet area, small kitchen, restrooms, and storage area. Supplementary to the addition, a large skylight and roof top deck with a lounge area and landscaping were also added to the 4thfloor. The scope of work for both areas included new lighting, HVAC, finishes etc. Furthermore, the lobby area was completely reconfiguredwith the expansion for a new exercise room. This was all completed with new millwork, FF&E, lighting, HVAC, and wall-floor-ceiling finishes. 78 guestrooms were also renovated with finishes and FF&E replaced, including bathroom tub/shower surrounds, vanities, and backlit mirrors.
